WD138 Login Security — Best Practices
Keeping your login session secure is just as important as choosing a strong password. WD138 recommends the following practices to all members in Malaysia:
- Always log out after every session, especially if you are using a shared computer or phone. Click the profile icon in the top right corner and select "Log Out" before closing the browser.
- Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) from the security settings section of your WD138 account. Even if someone knows your password, they still cannot log in without the OTP sent to your Malaysian mobile number.
- Avoid logging in to WD138 over public WiFi that are unsecured, such as those in cafés, shopping malls or airports, without using a trusted VPN. Public connections may not be secure.
- Always check the URL each time you access WD138. The correct address is wd138.best — be cautious of websites that mimic WD138 with similar-looking spellings designed for phishing scams.
- Update your password regularly — recommended every 3 to 6 months — and use a different password for your WD138 account than you use for other accounts such as email or online banking.
